Tucked away in the hills of North Tustin, California, Meg’s nearly one-acre backyard is a haven for rescued chickens, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, tortoise, and most recently rescued ducks on the farm. Meg’s she shed is decorated perfectly for Halloween sprinkled with white and orange pumpkins for fall.

Meg enjoys the farm and her she shed along with her three young children (ages 1, 3 and 5). The structure was made in one day by Shed World, which Meg and her husband designed. The two of them added a myriad of touches:
- An expansive porch
- Salvaged doors
- Paint
- Flooring
- Ceiling (papered with old book pages)
Meg goes to her shed in the evenings after stressful days as an attorney to unleash her creative side.
The she shed has been used as a bridal suite for several weddings in their yard over the past year:
Meg’s she shed has also been used as a reiki/energy healing space for wellness retreats, a massage room, and more in addition to crafting, herb drying, and painting in the she shed.
Meg’s space is truly dreamy and the she shed is used creatively throughout the year. Want to build your own she shed? Discover more:
