Nikki @miss_rusticarrow has an imposing old shed with an extended gable covering her generous porch. Coats of glossy black paint and a delicious turquoise door make this shed truly a standout.

May is shed design month and here is one for the history books.

Measuring 8 x 13, this design by @true_craft_sheds includes a 4-foot front porch and a steeply pitched roof. The ceiling is clad in what looks to be reclaimed wood, which makes a very strong design impact. At the back is a loft that’s large enough for sleeping. Leaded windows salvaged from a farmhouse and a built-in desk are just a few of the great details here.

Erin @clark.cottage.gardens is a garden designer and you can learn a lot from her. Her pale pink shed is a study in balance, with a cross-gable roof as the central feature.

Details such as the front window bracket awnings and single-panel French doors create the cottage look. Paying careful attention to the landscape pays off with a welcoming entrance of pathways and flower beds.

Inside we appreciate the wood siding on the walls. Great look!
