Kate Keesee (@katekeeseeoc) is famous on Instagram and elsewhere for her fabulous style that thrives on thrift and foraged finds. She did these projects over the summer made literally from salvaged boards and lots of ingenuity. We were excited to see our favorite She Shades neutral, Queen Anne’s Lace, used in these inspiring ways.
The outdoor shower was inspired by a water line already in place in the corner of the guest house. Kate vowed to spend not more than $150. She gathered free materials including pavers and reclaimed wood. An old leather belt was used instead of metal clips. Her husband Rob added a flex line to the pipe supplying the house.
The final touch is a foot-friendly floor made of wood and painted with She Shades paint.
The headboard is a study in cleverness. Our two favorite parts are:
1. A long body pillow that is “strapped to the wood headboard with old belts. SO cool. SO cozy looking.
2. Final touch of Queen Anne’s Lace cream paint for a calm, clean finish.
