Introducing the Boxx Model G She Shed Living® Edition, our first Northeast she shed designed by She Shed Living and created by Boxx! This 10 x 12 Cottage-Style shed is built to last and with carefully selected, low maintenance finish materials and super-efficient structural elements.

Made specifically with Northeast she shed buyers in mind, the Boxx Model G combines the clean lines and state-of-the-art materials of Boxx’s other Models, and the aesthetic architectural elements of She Shed Living’s classic look. The result is a 10 x 12 foot cottage-style shed that is so precisely built, it exceeds standard building codes.

The She Shed Living® Edition is carefully designed to suit your needs and desires for a private backyard space. The generous proportions and well-placed windows allow for a full home-office setup, a relaxation/reading space, a personal yoga studio or a light-filled artist’s studio. It’s built with high-quality materials that are made to last, withstand every season and look beautiful with very little maintenance.

She Shed Living followers in the Northeast can order a custom-designed Boxx Model G She Shed Living® Edition shed. The shed’s components will be shipped to your site and assembled usually within 2 weeks by a local contractor of your choosing and with Boxx’s assistance.

There are many ways to customize your shed, too! She Shed Living designed special touches such as window shutters, planter boxes, a cupola with weather vane and a farmhouse-style gable outdoor light.

Also, take advantage of our complete interior design plan for the Boxx Model G shed. We’ve furnished it with a comfy sofa, built-in cabinet/desk workspace, flatscreen TV, reading nook and beverage center. (Items can be purchased separately through Boxx or She Shed Living.) It all fits comfortably in the 120 sf backyard studio you’ve always wanted.

How to Get Started

Here are the things you should think about before ordering your Boxx/She Shed Living® Edition shed:

1. Local building codes regarding sheds and outbuildings. Boxx can assist you in seamlessly obtaining a permit for your shed. The first step is checking with your city to determine what kind of permits you might need; usually they are a general building permit and an electrical permit. You may also need to obtain a plot plan for your property to show the placement of the shed.
2. Engage a local contractor. Boxx will deliver all of the materials needed to build your new shed and provide assistance during the building process, but a local contractor will provide the experienced carpenters and electrician needed to build a foundation, and assemble and power up the shed.
3. Build a foundation and provide power prior to delivery of Boxx materials: Boxx will help you design a foundation appropriate to your location. Your contractor should build this foundation and the support structure for the integrated deck a few weeks before the shed’s delivery. Your electrician should also bring power and internet from your home to the shed’s location.
4. Timing: Once a deposit is paid, the fun begins. Boxx will assist you in selecting your finishes and options. Based on these finishes, your shed will be delivered in approximately 8-10 weeks, giving you the opportunity to complete your needed sitework.
